Hiring - Landscape Crew Members

Position Overview:

We’re hiring crew members to join our team for the 2025 season. You’ll work outdoors installing new gardens and hardscapes, with tasks ranging from soil grading and planting to stonework and edging. You’ll also collaborate directly with the owner on most jobs, gaining valuable experience and mentorship. This is a great fit for someone who loves physical work, values sustainability, and wants to grow into a leadership position over time.

Day in the Life: 

• Load tools and materials, then head out with your crew to job sites
• Remove existing vegetation, grade soil, install edging, hardscapes, and plantings
• Occasionally assist with maintenance, annual planting, and decorative pots(mulching, weeding, cleanup) 
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions, kneeling and lifting up to 60 lbs regularly 
• Share ideas, troubleshoot with your team, and bring good energy to the workday

Required Qualifications:

• 1+ years of landscaping experience
• Able to lift 50–60 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
• Comfortable working outdoors in all conditions
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and good communication skills
   

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with hardscaping (patios, walkways, retaining walls)
• Familiarity with native plants and invasive species common in Minnesota
• Experience driving a truck and trailer (or willingness to learn)
• Leadership potential or interest in growing into a crew lead or project manager role

Location:
Our base is in South Minneapolis, and most of our projects are in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area.

Salary:
$20-$26 per hour, depending on experience and skills.
